    Jolly good show chaps!!

To add to the t-stat diagnosis. It was stated on a previous thread that one radiator warms up much faster with a proper functioning t-stat. Wheras, a dicked out T-stat results in both slowly heating up at the same time.
Question : Which side heats up first if normal? L or R

I believe it to be the right side radiator.

Evil, you say your 98 has 54k miles on it, so i thought the following things might need to be addressed. The Fuel system cleaner was a good move, folks tend to find seafoam to be the best. As far as other maintenance of a bike with that kind of miles, honda recommends the spark plugs be changed every 8k miles and the air filter every 12k miles. A plugged up air filter will hurt your mileage too, they are pretty easy to change. All you need is a 8 or 10mm socket(cant remember which one) with an extension to raise the tank and a philips screwdriver to open the airbox.
