I'm not that keen on the look - but that wasn't my first thought. There is no way that single 55W bulb is going to be as good as the 4 x 55W on my bike (2 x dip, 2 x main). The lights on my 800 are better than the lights on my Volvo Turbo Brick!

The added 51 pounds ain't bad, when compared to the additional 65 HP and almost double torque.

The variable cylinders was not on this bike (so may be a choice), which would increase the fuel mileage (theoretically).

There are two separate transmissions; 1 manual only (which was on this display bike) and 2 that is selectable auto/paddle shift.

As far as performance is concerned, certainly should be a huge improvement. I'm thinking of manhandling the bloody thing - I'm not that tall & my 800 is already a handful :frown:

Should do, but that 44 probably translates to a real-world figure of well under 40, I'd think. I can easily get 50 out of my 800 on a proper run - much less in town of course - and I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if the variable cylinder thing managed to make up for that.

Interesting. The video on the UK site implied that all 3 modes were available on the same bike. That would make sense as the dual clutch gearboxes, even operated manually, should be an improvement in many ways.

Mind you, still guessing here :)
