I just got a new Sargent seat for my 6th gen. It has the Carbon FX cover. The issue I am having is that it is slick as all get out. Any bump or jerk from braking or down shifting and I slide right up onto the tank. My buns like it but my do-dads say ouch! Will this slickness subside?

If I'm wearing jeans it's slick, if I'm in my leathers it's not. Nothing concerning the slickness has changed in the 4,000+ miles I've used the seat.

I should mention, I added Stompgrips to the sides of the tank to help keep my boys from getting smashed when braking. When I commute to work I wear jeans and just couldn't take that kick to groin at hard stops. Maybe look into that as an option. They were cheap, something around $35.
