    Even if its only small steps, its good to hear you are on the road to recovery! Inevitably it will take many more months, but at least you are heading in the right direction.

    As for getting another VFR - just do it! It will provide an incentive to push through the pain, even if it means being a pillion to start with, don't loose sight of the aim to get out yourself on that VFR and enjoy the freedom of 2 wheels and hear that V4 growl.

    PS My friend snuck out for a couple of hours on her Street Triple at the weekend. Despite pain from the plate in her leg each time she changed gear or put her foot down - she loved every minute. There is light at the end of the tunnel...

    I hope your lawyer gets a fair settlement for you, and hopefully it won't be too long before you can rejoin the madness... Post up when you are ready - as we can always save a place for you in our next ride-out...
