Randy, if and when you come out, you're welcome at my place. Our numbers are increasing.....I like it. Vancouver Island ride should be in the works, if it weren't for shift work I'd organize it, but maybe someone else with better schedule can do a better job. Welcome aboard, mailmanbob and great white!
Congrats on the new bike. Yes, I thought about going over to the States where we could have saved even more but as I'm married with children, trekking around to save a few bucks isn't as easy as it might be otherwise. I did manage to get the price knocked down by almost 20% plus a new front tire so I'm good with it:biggrin:. Can't beat the convenience either as I just went out after work one day and picked it up the next. I like the hindle for the most part except when I'm trying to maintain a modicum of stealth like cruising through a quiet neighborhood. Feels like trying to sneak around with a 57 Chevy. I forget about that issue when I open up on the highway though:thumbsup: We'll have to get a Victoria Veefers meeting organized at some point. Which area are you in? Are you part of the Victoria Motorcycle Club?
You know, I may take you up on that. I think a ride in August or September is definately needed to help with fixing the economy. I tell my wife, we all need to do our part to stimulate responsible spending.
