    Thanks, bud! I didn't get much of a choice. When I came back to the bike with it's wiring in just strands, there was nowhere to go, but up. He had removed the gauge plugs, a few of the relays, the fuse box, etc etc. It was a mess, and it had to be sorted back in. When I explained to him the extent of work he had created, he had realized what he had done. He surely appriciates me putting it back together for him in a working fashion.

    I had also tried to future-proof the wiring loom, by leaving things like the tach lead, indicator lights, fuel gauge sender, blinkers, and stuff like that, in the harness. They're just terminated off under the tank for now, until we decide on a gauge cluster and light.

    Like I said, I'm an electronics guy. This is the stuff I do. Granted, this is far more complex than rewiring an old volkswagen or harley, but, I nailed it pretty damn well. Figuring out the ICM and clutch diode was fun, because the kick-stand sensor is also omitted.
