    Nice find and Welcome.

Our VF's have issues with introducing valves to the piston heads.

Be sure to get the valves adjusted ASAP....and then on a regular basis.

...and try not to over rev the thing.

    ENJOY!

Is that a double turbo prop behind your bike???

HOLY SHIT!!!! That is my friend!!!!! He rides a blue 2006 ZX-6R 636 right? I havn't been over there yet, my main forum has been Twowheelfix, but that is going to change. I live in Grove City right now. I lived in Newark for the last couple years too.

Thanks for the info! I'll keep a good eye on her, and start reading up on the info....

Small world! This site is where I get a lot of information, or at least ideas! Is that other site you mention very good? If so, I'll have to check it out!

Oh yeah, I grew up in Newark! I'm glad to be moved out of there!

Be sure to check out ohio-riders.com to meet up with some really cool people for group rides. In fact, I think I'm going to try to get together with some guys for a ride this weekend!

    Thanks, LOVE your helmet.

I loved Newark for the 2.5 years I was there. I was there at OSU, so I was in class and partying most of the time. haha What HS did you go to???

This forum seems cool and very informative. Dave says Ohio-riders is good for group rides too, he did a 6 hour ride last week with 2 guys. TWF is not bad. It can be "cliquey" at times until you meet the people. You also have to be ready to take a bunch of shit.... they throw it on in piles!!! lol

I can't share the same love for Newark that you seem to have! It was great until they started letting the roads go to crap, and well, a bunch of other stuff! I graduated from Newark.

Ohio-riders can be pretty tough as well! They really are a good bunch, bu tthey will mess with you! It's all in fun though, as long as you don't get too upset and go into "cry to mommy" mode!

Haha you guys are scaring me now. I will look into all of the things mentioned. In the mean time what would you recommend while sitting at stop lights?

I have really fallen for this little bike.... moreso than my previous R6. I hope to keep it running strong for years to come!

What do you mean recommend while sitting at stop lights?

I generally try to look as sexy as possible so any ladies that pull up next to me can't possibly look away. Usually sit there revving the engine, too. That really gets 'em goin'!

I'm unsure about the question also.

Make sure it's idling where it should be (around 1300rpm) and make sure no cager hits you??

Haha funny.... but I already knew that. :tongue2:

The question came from above (or maybe in that link provided) where someone said the damage was coming while sitting, where the oil pressure drops to very low levels. As long as it is idling correctly, will the top end oiling be fine?
