I'm so close to bolting my cr500 motor in you have no idea. If I haven't found that other motor that would be the weekends plans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wait, i'm a bit confused. last I checked the vf500 was a 4 cylinder with 4 valves per cylinder. 4 x 4 = 16. are you telling me there's 2 springs per valve? please excuse my ignorance. also, I talked to another company a couple months ago who said they would do a batch of 160 if I remember correctly. still not cheap but much better than getting 64 people to commit.
Yes 2 springs per valve. I completely forgot honestly. So no matter the price x32 adds up quick Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agreed. I have a running VF400 with a spare engine and a running VF500 with an entire bike for spares. The VFR750 has more spares available, plus less issues, so no spare bike/engine required. I also have a modern CB1300 so that i *always* have a running bike. In in all still cheaper than a modern sportsbike, plus little/no depreciation and maybe even some appreciation in value on the early VFs as they become rarer and rarer and rarer...
