See it doesn't pay to be dumb. Ignorance is bliss so I guessing you're blissful? Seems like thinking is not your strong suite. Why don't you get a manual for your bike?

That's bullshit, the last owner didn't adj the Mirrors either. What I got you for, but I guess the info from you is useless too. How come no one mentioned the plastic cover before,I bet it isn't in the manual. I didn't bust a Yamaha mirror in many drops. :yousuck::spider:

Well, we have to give him credit for buying a VFR. RIGHT?? That in itself showed some forethought.

Looks like the Emgo's are a exact copy even the plastic cover fits-still it was over $20 cheaper than the OEM. If you just look at the mirrow's-it does look like no way to adj them. I adj both of the the same and tested them by pushing with my hand like they were hit and used some penetrating oil-dam thing cost me $52 and a lot of trouble. I wonder why it took 8 years to adj them? I had to break one to figure it out. I did go though the owners manual-no mention of adj them. They were never adj correctly till just a few minutes ago. My Yamaha didn't have a plastic cover. I never buy anything new if I can help it-I would bet most people just drop the cover in the dirt and forget about it. That's the story of the Nerdy Honda for you-how a One cent plastic cover can cost you $52.:bug::pisser::blah::blah::whoops:

I know this silly problem is not uncommon who buys a used bike see's a flat surface bolt and assumes it non adj-push's on his mirror's oh too tight -gets the oil out-oh that didn't work-what the fuk- move on to something else-oh I guess I can't fix that. I guess my brake fluid is old, my chain is loose, my oil is dirty, oh the bike is really top heavy, oh I need sliders, my clip-on's are bent, just one of 50 things to fix on a used bike,oh my battery is dead, my tires suk -
finally the bike is working ok. Any way its now fixed-I am not going to look for more things to fix! I need Bad Billy to help me at least he gives me good advice!:grumpy::crazy::twitch::spy::ballchain:

Those Emgo mirrors paint will fade very shortly. Put some on my 4th gen and they 'grayed' out after 2 years.

Just FYI, OEM quality is better.

I usually stay away from and avoid any replies to these SOW threads. But I have to say, Zoom-zoom, you must have the temperment and patience of a saint. There's no "Respect" button, so I'm just going to hit the "thanks" button.
