My Pearl white VFR with PW powdercoated wheels.

Hi, I've been spending most of my time on vfrdiscussion but thought I would post a pic of my beautiful white VFR with white Powdercoated pearl white wheels.

The wheels look great, cleaning them is going to be a pain.

 

Not as bad as you think.

 

My riding friend showed me a trick for keeping wheels of any color nice, especially white.
Clean the wheels using plain Carnauba Car Wax. The Carnauba cuts through that chain oil and even road tar easily, and leaves a non-stick surface for future contaminates that will wipe off easily with a dry cloth. Whenever the wheels start to not clean up as easily, repeat the Carnauba treatment.

BTW your White Knight looks great! Just need a Competion Werks Tail Tidy for that rear fender. : )

 

I use a WD40 on a paper towel after each ride. Quick cleanup and they always look clean. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to my bike being clean.
I think it also goes faster when its clean. LOL

 

It's science. Everybody knows it. Same with your car. They shift crisper and accelerate harder.

 

If you give it a hug every so often, you will form a bond it will be loyal to you. This,I know works.

 

Looks amazing dude. One of the best looking bikes in motorcycling history, for real.
