Coming from evaporust I think it will be a similar type of product. Evaporust works great but in Australia is hell expensive.
Seeing as molasses does exactly what evaporust does but much cheaper I am going down the molasses route.
My guess is that the main ingredient in evaporust is the same as the rust dissolving ingredient in molasses.

I finally was able to get the Yoshimura exhaust off the other bike to put on the running VF1000R. The cleaned up nicely with pinesol and a little elbow grease. IMG_1306.jpg . I'm planning to replace the old stock exhausts on the VF1000R IMG_1313.jpg .

Here's a picture of the donor VF1000R IMG_1311.jpg . I'm planning to use the forks and rear assembly from this donor bike and put them on the running VF1000R. Actually, both bikes are running but the bike with the higher mileage actually runs much better. I figured that the float heights were incorrect when I tried to start the donor bike, so it's an easy fix. Just waiting on parts and i'll get the running bike back together.

Here's a short video of the running bike after I got it started last week

Nice work, that thing sounds great. Are those the stock clip ons? Cool how they appear to be adjustable.

Thanks, I believe those are original clipons cuz they came on both bikes. I only had one good set though. I'm planning on doing a front end swap with a GSXR front end that I have. IMG_1103.jpg
