Man I am so pissed I could not make this run with you guys. Sorry that I am going to miss meeting everyone. Hopefully we can put together another run before the season is over.

 

Sunday looked good a few days ago....

Not there, but left it until the last minute because I work outside with the weather.
Tired of cleaning cycle after riding in the rain.
Will be second wettest July in CT history. Approaching 9 inches. Yearly average is around 4 inches.

What a great ride! Man, we got every ounce of weather New England has to offer in one day. Hot, hazy, cool, damp, sun, clouds...but no rain! Had a great time, look forward to the next one.

02 / Chris - did you guys hit any rain after we split off in Greenfield? We did hit a very small patch on 91 down through Holyoke. Huge drops, I though we were going to get soaked. Lasted like 30 seconds and that was it, barely enough to wet the helmet. I was thinking of you guys and wondering if it was hitting you guys.

And, made it to pick up the GF right on time for the pig roast, so I didn't burn any credits - so I good to go for the next ride lol...

Good to hear you stayed out of the dog house.
I also managed to make it home right on time.
Got caught in a 5 min downpour in Barre but it was over quick.
That portion of 122 is fast sweepers compaired to the roads around Greylock.
It was a nice way to rap up the day.
Let us know when the BBQ is.

Makes me think we had set a pace that was alittle slow for you.
glad everyone had a good ride and mdncosta good to meet you and your wife.

I hit some rain in Belchertown but lucky for me I could see it coming down a mile before I hit it, so it gave me enough time to get my liner in my coat before running it to the downpour.

No, the ride was a good pace.
Every once and a while though she want's to run!

I didn't hit any traffic on 122 so I flew.

 

02 - pace was great, you are a good leader. Fast when it needs to be and slow through the towns - perfect job my man!

Somefun - without stopping, has to be about 2 hours from Spfld or so, so maybe 2:20 or so from Htfd? Well worth the trip. Great roads and really good destination. Next time!

 

I'm on it for sure, it would be great to get a bunch of us together. There seem to be quite a few that could get together if enough notice is given. I'll look at some dates and start something soon - maybe we can even squeeze in another ride before the bbq!

I want to do another Greylock ride with the wife aboard and also a Quabbin Reservoir run.

 

After reading all of posts after the ride my jealousy factor is pegged. Sounds like everyone made it home safe as well, can't ask for more than that.

02 even though I can not take part in the festivities thanks for heading this one up. I hope I can make the next one and finally meet you guys.

 

throw some dates out there or just keep checking both threads, we will have quite a few more rides in the future.
