You got me. Just for this, I am going to bed without my nightcap of fine Scotch. But I think to redeem myself, here in the UFRR I am going to proclaim from this point forward, 1 mile is going to = 6.2 rm (Randymeters)

But JMC makes a very valid point that I stress to my people at work, and in fact follow myself . I tend to relax a bit here though.

Are you married to my grade three teacher Mrs. Gillespie? She was always correcting me too.

When I bought my '98, the PO had just put some Pilot Power 2's on the bike, so that is all I have used, but they sure feel sticky and I love them. I will probably switch to Pilot Road 2's for my next set depending on how many miles I get out of the PP2's.

No typo. That quote is approximate. I have my fourth set on order right now and the bike is nearing 89,000 km. So went through three sets in 90,000 km. I will post up the exact mileage I got from the present tires soon as I make the change along with pictures of what is left over. Right now I have about 1/16th of an inch left before the wear bars closest to the centre of the tire is smooth. The sides are like new as most the wear is from slabbing the freeway to and from work.

Wow that is some impressive, tire conservation!! I'm not even going to see 6000m out of my BT-014's.
What were the other 3 brands that you used?
How about starting a new thread on tire milage records, I bet nobody can match yours!!
