Today, I was out on the VTR. It has these dual Two Brother's cans to let the "loud" out. I was getting my gear on when a family came out to get into the van that was parked beside me. Two little girls were standing at the side door to the van and almost next to the bike when I cranked it up. It does sound like a small explosion on start up and I blipped the throttle for good measure. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the girls jump and wheel around like they had been shot at! It was so great.

 

Nothin like scaring little girls---

We had just moved into my house. We are about 70 miles from Dallas and at the time, in the big middle of nothing. A storm came up and the wind began to howl. The rain was lashing the house. I looked out my bedroom window and looked up into the bottom of a swirling funnel cloud. So, like a dumb ass, I thought, "I gotta see this" and I ran to the front door to open it and run outside. I couldn't get out as the door kept getting pulled shut by the low pressure that was being created. That's when I figured out that I didn't need to be outside.
