Don't feel too bad about not riding with other VFR's Jeff. I know there are quite a few in Southern Ontario and a few near me but I have only ever ridden with another once. Saw a guy on one on my way to work in the cage one day last year, flagged him down them hooked up on the way in the next day. That's it for 3 years on the VFR. At lease some of my riding buddies ride CBR's.
I did pass one at a gas station up near Fergus earlier this year but didn't have a chance to stop and say Hi.

It's just not VFR riders, it's finding more people to ride with locally in general.

No one to ride with does suck. I had moved up to Ottawa many moons ago and had no riding group anymore. It can really suck not having like minded people to ride with. I have a few friends with cruisers and going on rides with them is super boring... They seem to like long straight roads. Better than not riding though.

Is there a common denominator here Jeff? I have a small group, (3 others) who I ride with from time to time. I've tried riding with other groups but found I end up riding with too many squids, or with people who really don'[t know how to group ride. These three I ride with is like riding with you quadruplet brothers. We ride perfect together.

Yeah the problem is my regular guys work odd hours or just can't ride half the time.

Also nobody wants to ride distance. I guess we just a different breed.

Haven't really ridden much as far as distance goes lately. I guess the Nelson ride was a fair distance. About 7 hours riding time each way if you consider that distance. That's really nothing compared to my September rides and my trips down to see all those disgusting rags in Atascadero every couple years

7 hours is distance. Most guys just want to cruise around town. Well that's fun from time to time I don't consider that distance it can get boring quick sometimes.

I just found out that my regular summer group that I ride with won't be having any more trips for a while. One of the guys wife decided that they like personal watercraft so he'll be doing that for the next few Summers.

I'll have my trip South of the Border to look forward to.

I'm about 8 hours due north of Toronto at about the 49th Parallel. All alone... If you don't own a Gixxer, H-D, or some kind of Ninja or "CBR" you're left out of the discussion. Such a closed-minded bunch up here. Last time I was in Winnipeg was 1988. Wow...is there still a "Marble Club" in the Exchange?

MY GOD! Where can I go play with my allies when I come now. I suppose you can't use plunkers either there.

Maybe you aren't old enough to catch that one Jeff.

Every kid I knew carried a bag of allies around with him when he went to school. Also known as marbles. We played marbles pre school and during recess. Plunkers were the large ones. You were really cool if you had crystal marbles or plunkers. And if you had ball bearings. Whelll. You could get blow jobs even from the principal. Well one of the principals would give those anyways.

Ahhh. Now I know. Yes. I do know what you're talking about now. Just forgot it's been so long. Crocks were sweet.

Yup I remember crocks and beauts. The beauts could have been plunks or marbles though. Beauts were indicative of the graphics.

Jeff was picked on as a kid too. They kept stealing his bag of allies. Hence, Jeff lost his marbles. Do you guys remember clip and shot?
