Malibu Ride Sunday 2-23-2014 (Early Start in the OC)

You know I'd be in if I wasn't on travel :frown: Have a great ride!!!

 

Sorry about your travel, glad you got the ride in last Sunday! While you're here, just let us know what days you are available and we'll find the time to ride with ya.

 

I'm off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as of now. It may change in the future to Mondays and Tuesdays though.

 

The way I look at it, we are in deep shit with water. It better rain soon or else. Pictures would be just fine if no video.

 

Great ride guys! This California drought sure is making almost every weekend available for rides! It was cold in the morning but it warmed up just enough to be really pleasant later on. There was hardly any traffic or congestion, and the roads were clear, no cops, and blue skies! I do love riding around the coast and ending the day with a relaxing cruise next to the Pacific Ocean. That road called Encinal is wicked tight! eaceful:

The tight road we hit was Decker Canyon (Highway 23). I'm gonna try and get some video editing done later this evening, but Long should have some good stills. Hard to beat the Malibu scenery and roads. Always great riding with you.

 

AWESOME ride boys....Chris and I ended at the Sagebrush Cantina.....huuuum beer. Good seeing ya Daryl, Jordan and Long.

Chris can really move that Hog! As most us know, it's the rider more than the machine. He definitely doesn't fall into the typical "HD" rider category. It was fun following him down Decker Canyon. I was also impressed that he caught up to me on Latigo and then kept pace! BTW the videos came out a bit "jumpy", probably should have put it on the fairing like I usually do but I wanted to see if this location would work. I might be able to salvage some footage, we'll see how it goes.

 

Ya he was sayin how you looked at ease and he was having to muscle his machine thats over 600lb to keep pace. We reversed our route and ended up going down to the rock store...what a freekin zoo...guys racein up followed by Ferraris and Porsches....wrong move that time of day.

After fill up the bikes we on our way to Malibu to meet up with Duccman and his budy Chris

How do ya find your picture? Do ya need a time or do ya have to look through tons of riders untill ya say...shit thats me?

 

Just have to look at the date and time frame, they have AM and PM sessions. Once you're on the day/time it's pretty easy to see your photo.

 

I think we scared the bejesus out of that poor Ninja 250 rider.

taking a chance to wipe them off the road ound:

In this picture is where we pass several CHP rounding up the ilegal racers. There were a Porches, Mustang and another car Ferrari like
and there are toll trucks with flat bed to haul them away :jaw:

That going to cost them some hefty fine $$$$$$

I want to be able to take pictures like Long does on the go while managing to hold on to his camera AND ride his bike! That's some mad skills!

I wish I brough the GoPro, that would be a good show.

All in all it was a nice ride, good to see some of the farmilar faces. Malibu is ok but I prefer some where away from the resident and the city so I don't have to worry about
run into people or got run over by those youngster on the pimp up cars
