Good Saturday guys , going to look at a 2002 with Staintune cans, sargent seat, power comander and 25,000 miles asking 4,000 but its been for sell for awhile now and needs to get it out if his garage so I think I can get it for 3 or 32,000 . He did say it needed a chain which would also include sprocket(s). So- my question what is the updated thing to do on the counter sprocket smaller, bigger the stock sizeon both? Any help at all would be great THANKS MAN
The 02 had a wiring recall If it was done at a dealer there should be a little punch on the vin tag The sprocket choice is yours. Some folks go down one tooth in front and up one in the rear for a little more get-up-n-go I personally a stock guy-leave her alone. New sprockets and chain at the same time is a good idea.
Thanks on that vin tag punch , ya I think I'll just leave it alone and just replace with stock gearing
