what freakin lightbulbs are in the rear for TURN and for the BRAKE lights?

I know they are the slide in kind, but I'll be damned if these aren't 13 year old lightbulbs and all the markings are worn off of them... are the same ones up front in the turn signal boxes? probably not huh, since those are run/turn...

dammit. I hate the slide ins, they all look the same.

 

Service Manual says:

Front turn signal: 12V 21/5 W
Rear turn signal: 12V 21 W
Brake light: 12V 21/5 W

 

yeah, I got the manual too... guess I'm gonna have to pull them out and take them to the auto parts store and stick my thumb in my butt while I hold them up to all the packages in the aisle til they match...

Though I am not sure about the 99, my 2000 VFR tail light housing has the wedge bulb type embossed on the plastic above each bulb. Mine says the brake light, and turn signals are a T20/7443 wedge bulb. When I pulled the bulb out for the brake and the turn signal, they both looked identical. The previous owner also wrote 7443 Wedge beside the rear brake/tail light and turn signal lights in the owners manual.
