    DUDE get this,

so i put a deposit on the 07 RWB right, turns out the damn dealer doesn't even own that bike. and they could not find one for me, so they offered me an 07 non abs rwb for 7800.

AFTER we already agreed on a deal of 8200 for a rwb abs wiht 3 year

i told them to go pound sand, IF i have to deal with non abs then i want it for 7400. they said ok, but then they wanted me to increase my deposit to 2000 and make it non refundable. i lafed at the guy and hung up. soo now im looking for another bike WTF.

i prob would have done a 2k deposit AFTER i test drove it. but they didn't even have the damn bike. AHH im pisssed.

I picked up a RWB VFR800A '07 in August for $7700 at Interstate Honda in Ft. Collins, CO (Talk to Matt-. Got the bags for an additional $800. They added an $85 fee and I was OTD for title and processing in Oregon (no sales tax). Rode the bike around Colorado and western Kansas for 1 day and a half, returned to the dealer for 600 mile and was off to Oregon. Found every twisty road I could find and 2000 miles later my new best friend and I arrived safely in Portland.

With the economy on this side of the pond, prices at all dealers seem very aggressive. I've owned about 10 road bikes through the years and ridden many others. Own four now. Though this bike will be nearly three years old once you drive it off the lot, it's a great deal. Period. My Bridgestones show some minor aging, but all hoses look good. I plan on stripping the BT020s off next Spring anyway.

And to think I could have three of these in the garage for the price of my Road King...

Matthew Peters http://www.interstatehonda.com Matt's a straight shooter and has owned his own BMW/Aprilia/Ducati shop before selling it four years ago. He knows bikes. He knows riders. Great transaction. Highly recommend a trip to Colorado before the snow falls...

Southern Honda in Chattanooga Tn. has the 07 Candy Red for $5983.00.
They have at least 6 on the floor for that price. Only seen one RWB but did not price it.

I am trying to work a deal with a dealer here in Houston. I am at $8,727 OTD RWB non-ABS. The dealers here are so difficult to deal with.

NEW 07 VFR Just picked up

Got a new 07 RWB left over from a Honda Warehouse. Price was $7600 out the door. The ABS was $8300 but I didn't want that. The dealer said that Honda does indeed have a warehouse of these they are blowing out. PM for dealer info. Picked it up 8/30/09

    Try these guys:
    Sindt Motor Sales, Inc.
I bought my '06 2 years ago from a guy that had bought it brand new in the spring of '07 from them for $7,500 cash. He didn't like it and sold it to me for $7,100 with 940mi. on it. They buy these leftovers all the time and sell them for a good discount if you pay cash.
You may have to send them a note or call because the leftovers don't always appear on their new or used inventory.

I am so tempted but moding another VFR to match my '05 would cost $2000+ over and above the dealer cost...

    But we shall see...

It's almost like there is an inexhaustible supply. Each time I go to the local dealership there is another one sitting on the floor. The dealership claim they are selling them. Hmm maybe I should take a look at the VIN.
