Will someone make me go to bed?

    I'm a bit down too.

All right!!! Glad to hear that you made it. Was a pleasure to meet you. Both Suzanne and I have been keeping up with your "Big Trip". Even the daughter has been asking how you are doing. She wants to ride. Keeping an eye out for a good bike for her to learn on.
You definitely have a friend in Edmonton. You're welcome here anytime.

Wow, 11,200 kilometers in 21 days. That's like 533 k.m.'s per day, average. That is like really good. When you first started you never quite did that in a day, so you must've had some high mile days? Pretty awesome. I believe it was still too early to go to Alaska. I'd say end of June to beginning of September. If you wanna do Alaska come pick me up, I'm in. Another epic journey.

Yes, some days more miles than others. Today was about a 600 mile day. I had a few of those. Lol

I will, I'd love to do Alaska, but it'd be a hard ride!!

Hah. The wife knows that AM met up with us .... she was already aware that I was helping her before I even left home when the bike started acting up just outside Edmonton and when I went for a ride / dinner with AM when she passed through here.

My wife hates my motorcycle ever since the accident. She used to want a Virago, but now, anything to do with motorcycles she gives me looks of disgust but puts up with it anyways, she knows that there's no way to put the fire of my motorcycle passion out. :)

Super happy that you made it home safely without any issues. At least you can fall asleep in your bed instead of my camp chair in your sleeping bag. LOL!!

I think it's the knowledge that you're no longer free on the open road to explore and adventure, see new things ... it's back to the same old scenery every day. The company wasn't too shabby either, and will be sorely missed as well. :p

Glad everyone made it home OK. I've got about another 1200 miles and I'll be home too.

Finally going to spend some quality time with my dirty moto in the wash. No crazy power washing. Just a place where I can get at him slow and steady. [IMG]

Great looking machine there AM. You would never know that it just came back from a 21 day road trip. Love the shot looking up at it from down in the ditch. Makes the bike just seem BIGGER somehow. Glad
to hear you made it home safe and sound, not that here was ever any doubt. Looking forward to your next trip out west and we'll be sure to have your room reserved. LOL. Now, GO ride it like ya stole it.

Took me forever to scrub my girl down tonight too ... she's still not perfect, but she's looking pretty. :)

Those bugs must have gotten baked on our bikes.

I just stopped there yesterday afternoon. Got caught in the cold front that slammed the city. Beats camping in the rain. :)
