I like tornadoes about as much as I like lightning. Seen them but not really up close like I have with lightning. But they scare the piss out of me.

I remember the story from the night at Randy's place with AM. Randy HAS, ummmm, "Seen the LIGHT(ning)."

Steering around the tornado would certainly reduce the likelihood of ummmmmm, Strong Crosswinds. I seem to remember reading or hearing about a guy that thought he was in good enough shape to withstand the winds of a hurricane so he tied himself to a tree in the face of a hurricane. Quote was something to the effect of this:

"When it comes to hurricane force winds, its not THAT the wind is a blowin', Its WHAT the wind is a blowin'. You get hit by a VW blowing in the wind, it won't matter what kind of shape you're in."

Of all the high winds, rain, cold temps, adn moto issues that AM has suffered and triumphed through, REALLY, a TORNADO, now there's a STORY!!! LOL

Heat advisory calls for a ton of propel and water. Can you tell I'm still in Timmies withdrawal? My lunch.

Good news: the bike is moto, which means he's behaving. Cross my fingers he continues.

Haha. I think that's your favourite food group .... :D

I'm relieved to hear you haven't had issues yet. This is a very good sign considering the frequency of the issue.

Well ya gotta admit the return trip looks better than the HUGE pattern of rain from when you started
your trip. Glad to hear, like Jeff said, that you're moto issues have remained a memory. To think how far you've gone and all the miles. Most of us experience some of the same issues, but usually spread out over the season as opposed to the one trip. LOL.

Tried a couple times today to hook up with a buddy for a ride but had repeated computer issues. Clients with computer server failures. I went down to start the bike up a few minutes ago as we just got it solved for a short trip and my rear tires flat. Checked the valve for the same issue that I had at Randy's but leak is coming from around the stem.

New valve stems eh?. Toss them standard stems and get anodized aluminum colour matched 90 degree angle ones. They are screwed on from the inside and I believe less susceptible to leaking like those rubber ones that get pulled through the hole in the rim.
