Weight distribution doesn't matter, if you get the bike up & to the balance point.

5th & 6th gens definitely WILL power wheelie. Proof with me on a buddy's Y2K:

Wheelies are great after you've won a Moto GP or AMA pro race, but on the street they represent irresponsible, show-off behavior.

I must be either too fat or my VFR is underpowered because i cannot get the front end up without clutching it up, it will NOT wheelie at WOT at any of the gears or rocking the throttle. My 750 does that in 1st, 2nd and part of 3rd though.

well most people can't make it to motogp or ama prorace what a goofball response.:crazy: If the road is clear no cars people animals special trees around I see nothing wrong in having a little fun doing a wheelie in a responsible manner....That's like saying well you did not fly the space shuttle so don't fly a single prop and do a roll.................................

I did! The race to do a throttle body sync! That's me testing the bike & making sure it's safe for him to ride! LOL

Go pound yer nuts squirrelman, someday I'll use my "old junky VF" to do it myself.

Here's one of my vids, there's a wheelie in there somewhere... watch it in HQ!

Try this, it makes it a bit easier.

Get a rolling start, just a couple mph, then pull the clutch gas it and go.

It makes it easier. Its about skill, not power. but vfr's have PLENTY of power. just takes practice. Just start off getting the wheel up a few inches.

I had an 1986 kerker exhaust (best sound ever) from a stand still stand it up and the front wheel would chirp at 85mph.
My mechanic was SICK. ALEX STEMLE, INDY.
