    That's not a bad price. Show up with $7000 cash, and there's a good chance he'd let it go. Buy a new FZ7 for about the same money, and in 2 years, compare prices again.

    The great thing about the old Hondas is they are affordable. I couldn t afford that bike back then. I could now. I didnt like those things. They felt top heavy to me. But, they re cool for what they are.

    Once you get out of debt, and start keeping everything you clear, assuming that you re maxing out your 401K, and company stock, you start looking at motorcycles like that differently.

    I love old Hondas. Theyre a great value!

    You think that's affordable? $8000 for a 35 year old bike known for eating camshafts? That's prob twice the price when it was new. Lol

    I don't know about its propensity for destroying camshafts. I couldn't get past the way they rode. I told you i didnt like those things. Somebody, somewhere does, tho.

    My weakness is for the '01-'07 Hondas. RC51, 929, Super Hawk, 919, G5 Interceptor, BlackBird.

    I love my Superhawk for about 90 miles. I love my VFR from coast to coast.

    I have to agree that for some people $8000 is walking around money and for other people it is an impossible dream.
