I'm in the Reading, PA area so if anyone wants to save some cash on a tire swap, I can do it. I don't have a fancy hydraulic machine but I can get the job done without any scratching/mauring. I've been changing my own tires for 2 years now.

It would only cost you two things:

    1. $2.00 a tire for me to dispose of the tires at a local facility.
    2. A small donation to the "wheel weight" fund. I'd have to replenish the weights obviously. Many times I can reuse the Honda factory clip-style weights.

You can also ship to the tires to my address and then ride the bike to my place. It's up to you.

Just throwing it out there for you guys.

    Thanks,

    Todd

that's cool. that's like the deal I get. Tori keeps my balancer at his place and in exchange, he changes my tires 2 or 3 times a year...

Well I figure everyone is trying to save a buck, me included although you wouldn't know it with all the dough I've spent on track days already this year.

I won't accept beer but a nice glass of sweet tea would do nicely

How far is Reading from Cleveland? If not to far sounds it like sounds like a nice day trip.

Shoot, give me a yell if you need some tires changed. I've got the Harbor Freight jobby and it does a good job. I'm still working on a good balancer, the one I have works, but not perfect.

Nice! Maybe this will start a trend and bring peace to mankind through motorcycle brotherhood. <cough, cough>

In case you're interested, I use a Mark Parnes balancer. I use two jack stands as my base, works quite well. There are versions you can build at home also, I just decided to buy one on a whim last year.

Nice of you to offer! I'm about 30 miles southeast of you (Downingtown), and I'll take you up on your offer in early June, if that's good for you. Can you PM your mailing address so I can have the tires drop shipped to you? Thanks so much!

Nice offer! I'm not ready just yet but hopefully I'll be able to ride enough soon to wear these tires out completely!

Maybe I could help you out with a balancer...do you have anything in mind? PM me if I can help out somehow.

You better burn through a set of tires before June!

I am going to need some warning from anyone considering this offer since I do tend to take off on weekends for either track days or just on a long ride. I'll be in New York the first weekend of June I know that for sure.

No sweat, just give me a yell when you're ready. I have a balancer but I need to work on some better cones to balance the rear wheel, the front works fine.
