I want to take the new Kawasaki H2 SX SE for a ride. 197hp, over 100lbft torque! I've sat on one. It's comfy! I love the green paint too.

Yes at the dealer link i provided they HAD a few new ZX-14's both 2017 and 2018 for under 12,995 (some new ZX-10's cheap as well) but someone scooped them up.

If the VFR1200X DCT (Someone on youtube took his VFR1200x manual to the track and did the 1/4 in 13.2 seconds) had the same power as the VFR1200fd with similar performance it would be in my stable.

The Africa Twin is nice but just doesn't do it for me. Honda put the VFRf V4 in the VFRx or Africa Twin!

Kawi has some big GREEN balls for their bikes!!!:Tea:

UGLY! But a great Bike. I wish Kawi would go back to a rocking candy red. I know the signature is green due to Honda being Red. Candy Red forever!

But for $22,000-$50,000 that is so not worth the cost for me. For $50,000 I would buy a used Ferrari!

Where are they for sale for $50k? The most expensive I've seen is $27k for the SE.

If I was to ever get a ZX-14 it would have to be the 30th Anniversary Edition - I just love the retro paint scheme on it! I think they only made 300 of them.

Where the hell can you get a house for $50K? My first one was 55 and that was 1980. It wss nothing to brag about either. Just a 1050 sq foot ramcerr on a slab. Small yard too.

I'm pretty sure Honda did put the V4 from the 1200F in the VFR1200X. They just changed the ECU map for more low end torque. I suspect it's geared differently as well. But the same motor. PRETTY SURE.

Different cam specs, ECU settings and headers, Dynojet results are 150hp compared to 108hp as per Motorcycle.com's May 20,2016 article by John Burns

    Hmmm can i mod a VFR12X to perform like a VFR12f? Interesting...:potstirrer1:

This is currently at the top of my bucket list. Actually the only bike I would consider going to, but I haven't arranged to test ride yet. The specs just aren't that much different from the ZX14r, about the same curb weight, about the same wheelbase, about the same rake and trail, about the same seat height. The little difference in hp I probably wouldn't use that often, but I do like the style, suspension, the cruise control and electronic of the SE model. Maybe later this year or next!

Isn't it a lot more upright riding?

I think it is even lower than that, like 22k. Don't know where 55 came from.

Could be and that would be disappointing. I could probably deal with a little, but not a lot.

It isn't, if you're talking about the H2SX. Similar to the VFR. Maybe a little more upright, but didn't feel like an ADV bike.

I saw 179 mph on the straight! That thing is fast. Seems to handle well too. A Super Sport Touring bike.
