Don't know there this campus is but it could be a good place to learn.

I mean, you wonder why he's not hanging off at least a little. Maybe it's just impractical to switch from side to side at the rate they need to change direction. Or maybe his concentration is already a taxed to the limit.

Guys hanging off are typically carrying a lot of speed.... The maneuvers in this clip were done at a low rate of speed. He was consistent with perfect throttle control and leaning over farther would have him grinding those crash bars...

Anyone hear back from the OP? I haven't seen any other post here from him other than the initial post he made starting this thread. Only hope he didn't go and try something on the open road and it didn't end well.

I was no different than the OP some years ago. I agree with a lot of what is being said. I took a race school and got bitten by the bug. It was not long before I was knee dragging. A racing school took my capabilities WAY beyond what I thought I could do. I became a much better street rider for it.
I am not a fan of testing limits on the street, be it speed or traction....or both. If you don't want to do a little club racing, track days are perfect. Like a previous poster mentioned, be sure you are comfortable dropping what ever bike you bring. Financially that is. If you are riding a nice Viffer, try to find a straight wrecked bike that may need cosmetics.
Be very careful, that race bug infects quickly and there is little known treatment outside of riding it out! It has a devastating affect on the pocket linings.
Having said all that, they were the most exciting 4 years of my life and I wouldn't change a thing.

I've found time sometimes slows way down during a crash. While sliding towards a VW bus one time, all I was thinking about was- "Aw shit! I'm going to have to fix my fairing again"....
