I didnt have the heart to say that. It all boils down to this: its the squid factor  No bones were broken, no ligiments torn, no fingers severed, So it is a happy ending. Maybe he will invest in a nice Ninja 250 for the future?

Rider , your rider on(get it) . The DMV should make new riders at least take some kind of new rider course just to understand the basics like BRAKING. Plus it would be a break on there Insurance . OK point made - I'm done . Thank god he's just not another statistic

It actually took longer than I expected for the "I know what's best for you" crowd to show up. It is what it is, some poor guy fell off his bike and didn't get hurt. If people would stick to minding their own damn business, we would all be better off.

You can see in the video that he starts to sit up a little to quickly, and if you say he was riding faster in a treacherous curve above his skill level...but the gear saved him. Bikes can be replaced. I'm sure he will be feeling that one for a while.

I was gonna stay gone permanently but I wanna look at your avatar some more. I want to be reincarnated as that gas tank. You need to become an Insider so you can have a bigger Avatar!

His comment that 'once he hit the bumps on the double line he knew he'd lost it' is a bit telling, eh? It looks to me like he went in hot; but not *that* hot, hit the buttons and the line, which probably lost him a bunch of grip, and while it's possible he might have made it had he leaned in, he may not have been able to do that. My eye says the front was washed out from the time he hit that line.
