One day, Mrs. Gillespie, my grade 3 teacher, decided she was going to use some of her new knowledge from her phycology courses. She came into the classroom and said: "Anyone here who thinks they are stupid, please stand up." After a moment or two I stood up.

"do you think you are stupid?" she asked me.

"No." I said. "I just didn't want you to be standing in the class all alone."

Nothing worse than the experience of working in your own shop with all your bought and paid for, and collected tools, then going to your son's place to do an install of something, and having to go and buy more tools for his tool box. I bought both my son and daughter a starter tool box set with wrenches, sockets, screw drivers and a couple necessities when they were in their middle teens. My wife got one too. But neither my son or daughter have added to those sets. That was about 20 years ago now.

I am not leaving my tools to anyone. They can fight over them when I leave this world. If they want the proceeds from my two bikes, my truck and everything else I have built up, they will have to find out their value and sell all that fukken stuff.

Aren't I the greatest dad ever!

I can remember when I was a young rubble riser in the early 60's, when those mosquito foggers would come out at night, we used to chase behind those trucks on our bicycles. I am surprised we are still alive today. Well, some of us are now dying off from old age.
