How to strap down bike in pickup?

Pitt Bull trailer restraints for real motorcycles are not destructive as straps are.

 

Yeah, they are nice but kind of overkill for a one-time use. I've thought about them for my toyhauler, but just
can't convince myself to spend that kind of dough.

 

Correct, for one time use, not worth it.

 

Going to be interesting for me in a couple weeks. We are trucking two bikes from Sacramento down to Atascadero. There is lots of room in the back of the truck, but I have two rails for the fifth wheel hits that front to back on the deck of the box. I don't know how that is going to work out. we might have to remove those rails for this. Easy enough done I think. Three bolts each and there is lots of elbow room in the undercarriage of this truck.

 

Depending on what type of 2-wheel vehicles you plan to haul with your truck, strategy to secure them for transport will differ.
