No problem, duccman. 1923-1985. I got my Z1 the hard way--I inherited it.

The header is a Kerker. It has a deep, lush, mellow burble. Then when you crack it open, it's pure power. I live for that sound.

Since you got your bike free, I think a new mattress would be nice for your missus.

Just got a labral tear in left hip. Dock says I have to live with it. Cant swing my leg over the damn bike. So I go knee up on seat and slide the leg over. Guess I be doing that for another 20 or 30 years. Dont tell me I cant ride. I'm only 60! That would be the end of me. Day comes I cant have fun I'll die of lead poisoning.
Yes I will get another opinion but it will be a while. Just ANOTHER ache and pain to add to the list.
Anyway had a pleasant ride to work this morning. Brisk 29f weather. Nice! Love it. Just want to ride all day.

I used to ride with a guy who stood over 6'-6". Rex had really long legs and he would just walk up to a bike and step over it. He never threw his leg over the seat he just faced the bike and stepped over it.

Actually yes. I just used it yesterday. But I ALSO found a lightly used JR ballistic Jacket and added a pair if RevIt enterprise pants. That setup is slightly less warm and slightly easier to get into. So the suit is for below freezing and the 2 piece is for everything else till it warms up.

I'm 55 and have 5 bikes in the garage including two 2 strokers. A guy that use to ride track with us was still running competitive lap times well into his late 70's until he had some health issues. I think he still has near a dozen bikes. I wonder who is the youngest VFR rider. Might be my son if he steals mine. 23.

58 going on 18!! Got back into bikes last year after a gap of 32 years. 32 yrs fricking wasted!! So far done 7 days touring Ireland, most weekends riding in Wales, my first trackday. This year more trackdays, NW 200 road races Ireland, Ulster GP Ireland, a little trip over to the Gasthof Hochalmspitze in Austria and thinking of going to Vietnam, buying a small bike and riding it down the length of Vietnam finances permitting.

    46 but still get carded!

Recently made the switch back to a more sporty bike from a cruiser and I remember why I love these machines. Riding everyday and tomorrow will be no different with a low of 15 tonight and a high of 29!

At least it's not snowing, raining or sleeting

    Define older!

Compared to Nicky, I am older.

    Compared to a redwood, I'm a sapling.

I'll be too old when they throw dirt on me.
