Ok, so not "too" far away.... if you have any interest, there is a group you could send a message to = minnesota-vfrs@googlegroups.com.
I don't know that anyone has ever actually gotten a ride together as of yet,
    No pressure of course!

59 goin' on 60. I've been riding since I was 14. Age is just a number. I'm much faster, not to mention quite a bit better looking, than I was when I was younger. My supercharged '99 Frankenveefer may have something to do with the speed aspect. Good genes and semi-healthy living probably account for the looks.

i will be 60 in August. I still that the sport touring bike lean the bars is still quite comfortable. i just pick up my latest and last bike last year, 2006 Ducati ST3S ABS, in RED, of course! It fits in very well with my smaller stable of bikes.

55 here. Just back to riding after a 25 year absence - recently picked up a cherry '04 VTEC with low miles and am loving every minute of it! Lots of eye rolling from family and friends but who cares - you've got to live your life.

My wife does not ride with me. She used to, years ago but we had a pretty scary moment in a corner and she hasn't ridden with me since. I had a talk with her and she said "yes," she remembers the corner scare clearly but that's not why she stopped riding with me. The kids came along pretty close to that indecent and she didn't want to leave them orphans. She also says "bikes at your thing." So that's it. I get to have my hobby just for me. We work together and so my occasional bike trip is really needed because we don't need any more together time.

64 years old. Just got a new to me 1997 Red VFR. My other bike was a ST1100. Now it's a 2006 Yamaha FJR1300.
    Cheers,
