Quite fine thread to read through as I am just finishing my hersheys milk chocolate bar with a spoonful of peanut butter no less:hungry: :focus:
Feelin much better, but still work to do. Im now just under 90kg, slow loss of weight, but ive put on some muscle tone which is a bonus - for the looks. Still fat around the stomach so ive still a lot of work to do, I now think 80kg is possible and i am starting to think, hey mabey the ideal weight of 75 to 80 is about right for me. The gym helps the bike riding endurance immensly.
Hopsterman, great job losing the 10kg. it's not easy to do, but you're doing great. Last spring I read an article in "Sport Rider" about the pro racers training on bicycles to keep fit and increase their endurance. So, I got an old mountain bike down from the attic and started riding in April. It was rough the first week or so, and my bicycle riding skills were pretty bad (it's probably been 35 years since I rode a bike), but now it has gotten to be a routine that I look forward to. My weight has dropped a little, my riding skills are much better, but best of all, I feel a whole lot better. Let's stay with it Bro!
