    First "street bike" 1978 Yamaha XS11,, Mr Bad in its day, "Macho Maroon" in color. Went thru several sets of tire with that one.

    (2) '82 Midnight Special with a similar engine as the above,, but I swore it was missing 30 HP from the above.

    (3)'99 VFR,, just lately, I call it "Sweetie",, does everything right.

    (4) '09 Buell 1125r,, Serious Intertainment! I call it "Thunder Heart"
    "The blood of Thunder Heart flows thru your veins like a Buffalo",, I heard
    that in a movie once.

    I started almost a year ago on a 1987 Kawasaki KZ550... that bike was an ugly mule, but it taught me so much about riding... unfortunately, it was already pretty run down when I got my hands on it, fell apart pretty quickly and I hadn't the $ to invest... then along came the offer: 1987 VFR700F, totally free, and it ran. thing was sittin' for 4 years before I got, tank rusted to hell... I lined the tank with a sealer, did some general maintenance, and now it purrs :)

    I once made a list of all the bikes I owned, but that was 15-20 years ago. My fist bike was a honda C200 in the mid 60's, and after working at the dealer level for 30 + years in the motorcycle industry, I dont think I can count all the bikes I have owned in the past. I own about 200 now, with about 60 that you would call motorcycles. my latest is a '08 VFR 800. I"d guess hundreds.

    6.83 XZ550 Vision
    7. 84 RZ350 w/K R color
    8. 79 GS850GN Still own just restoed to stock
    9. 80 GS1000 G

    11. 97 TL1000SV {nasty snarling beast}
    12. 99 VFR800
    13. 04 ST1300

    Of these bike I still own and ride four of them,I'm not well off or anything like that but this is my hobby,my passion....These guys have their own house{garage} called the
    "Old Guys Garage".....its a 16x24 two story I keep my bikes in and doubles as my shop when one of the is in need.I still ride the GS850, the lil V-Star,got my VFR last Summer after selling my TL1000......and the ST1300....to the other poster who was wanting to add a bigger bike to his fleet to compliment the VFR take a look at the ST my 04 hasn't put a foot wrong yet gets fairly good fuel mileage,and will make you want to ride the VFR more.....For the most of my life bikes have played an important part, I've courted on them, traveled ,used them for full time transportation, recreation.....Motorcycles are great means from place to place.....don't know what I'd do without a motorcycle in my life......Keep on riding....
