Im going to go look at a Yamaha Virago later today and seeing if the owner is home. The fork seals on the VF have finally given up and im in the situation i have one seal kit but need a second now as well. (unless of course i was sold two seals when i ordered the parts..gonna have to look at them later to see if that was the case) Either way im looking at the Virago as something to ride while i upgrade the VFs suspension.

My stable now has 3 bikes in it. The latest is an '86 VFR 700. It's a really fun, corner carver for when I feeling much younger than I really am. The other two are a Vstar 650 Classic. This ones for takin' it slow and easy. But my main ride is an '02 GL1800 Wing. Don't laugh! This bike goes like stink, takes corners much better than it should, stops better than expected and does every thing I ask of it. You can't really ask much more of any bike you own and ride.

Oh yea...I'll wave at anyone of ya on any bike your ridin' everytime I see ya.

I currently have two bike. Rode both last weekend, but wife has suggested I get rid of the 84 to make more room in the basement. What should I do? Get a third?

I had the 1984 miniceptor since 1985 and was pre-wife. Has under under 11,000 miles and the classic 16 front wheel as you know. I would miss having her so I hope the wife forgets.

Post a photo of your miniceptor and other bikes. Don't you have an extra one for your son already?

Oh my God!! I don't know whether to be jealous or write you a script for medication. This is an obsession. Can I come to your house?

I have .5 bikes right now. Finally got my carcass rolling last night but it's still not all back together yet.

Hey guys - this has been an interesting thread for me. Since getting my first sportsbike (2k Honda VFR - bought December 2006) a lot about me and what I like has changed. I guess you can call me a crusier convert. I went to a Trackday up here at the Poconos Racetrack with some buddies of mine and now I am addicted. In the past my desire was to have a full dress crusier and the VFR in my stable. My wonderful 2k Yellow VFR is not going anywhere and so it will not get lonely I am thinking about doing a project CBR F3 to use for trackdays. I would also consider a Yamaha FZR or maybe a 4th Gen VFR. Which of the three would make the better track bike ???

Prob the F3. I think the FZR is heavier. Parts availability is gonna be better for the pure sports bikes, I think. I rode an FZR for a few years, and I always thought the Honda was a better bike. The FZR basically didn't change for about 10 years it seemed like. So, if it was me, I'd prob go for the Honda (F3 that is).
