    Hmm...

I called Reno and NorCal. The best I could get was $10300 OTD.

I still have a day or 2 before they stick it on the transport for delivery.

Anyone have any suggestions on who to call?

    Anyone? Beuhler?

I also paid an additional $1321 including 13% taxes for paniers.:pope2:
ICBC (Insurance Corporation of BC = a crown Co.) $567 insurance for 8 months of 2008:tongue:
Private insurance for collision and comprehensive etc. $642 covers for 12 months.:party2::strong:

Now, you know why Canadians are poor and not many Canadian members have bought $230 Helibars.:bs:

So, whats your dealers name? Thats an OTDprice eh?
    $10,300 - sales tax of $700 = $9600 for a non ABS.

I know that is my wife reminds me all the time.

If I fall off bike I'd rather injure myself since I don't need to pay any money
for medical to fix my body.

Ahh insurance, mine is $29.91/month, so $358.92 for 12 months. As for the RWB bikes, I'm surprised that I haven't seen any of them around town since they are out there.

    What does it cover?

I have collision and comprehensive insurance by private company.
It covers up to 2 million dollars and a full replacement of the bike with
a $500 deductable. ICBC is BC's provincial insurance co. however, if I
have them for collision and comprehensive, I have to pay them about
$1200 extra for one year coverage. We have to have ICBC for basic
insurance if we own a vehicle in BC. I have the highest discount of 40%
off rate, however, my premium for one year will be around $2,000 if
everything I need is insured by ICBC alone. I think people in BC are
paying the highest insurance premiums in North America. I think nothing
to do with our medical plans.

My insurance is thru State Farm. I have collision, comprehensive and liability, with a $100 deductable on colision and comp. My liability limits are $250,000/$500,000 being 1 vehicle/multi-vehicle. In my state you have to have liability but the state minimum is $8000 awfully low.

    Hi, Captamerica
May I ask your premium for one year?

I guess there must be a fair amount of people driving their cars with $8,000 coverage in Ohio.
ICBC's minimum coverage is $200,000 though most of my friends have $2,000,000.
I probably don't need more than $2,000,000 (that is I have) on the VFR since I also
would not survive after such an accident, however, I have been considering to increase
the coverage for our car and truck. Our insurance also covers, if the other party had a low
coverage and we were injured or dead. If I kill someone because of 100% my fault,
I may have to pay more than two million dollars. I think, everything is much more expensive
in Canada, however, our income is also generally higher than American.

When you come to Canada for a holiday, please increase your insurance coverage.
Otherwise, you may lose your house.

Let's talk about VIN number again.
I wan to know Jason's VIN number, since he has been one of the most enthusiastic
guy in this thread. I am not very keen to entertain him any more without knowing his VIN.
:team2: We have to share informations since we all are in a team.

Well Shikyo you will certainly not see it now. Originally I was going to go and see who was the first to spot it... Now with your comment I have lost interest in this thread. A VIN is a personal item and if it shared it is shared. How much one paid for a bike or a house etc. is also personal to me and you won't find me posting that either... You are correct, I am very enthusiastic about coming to an answer about how many RWB were made but I have never asked anyone for their VIN. If it was provided, that was great.

I apologize if you thought you were "entertaining" me with this thread... you can stop. This is not my thread and all I was doing was showing interest in coming to a solution, if my posts were of no value then I apologize again.

    Hi, Jason
If I made you upset, I am very sorry. I was just kidding you, however, it is true that I want to know as many VIN as possible.:hangme:

22 RWB out of 55 RWB have VIN between 1 to 99.

The last 3 of my VIN is 140. I purchased my pre-owned RWB VFR with 3000 miles on it from a friend who is the general manager of a dealership. He took the bike in on a trade and gave it to me at his cost! I paid only $7000 for it and it doesn't have a scratch on it. It's good to have friends that will hook you up!!

    Regards,
    Rollin

After seeing the recent post on the Freddie Spencer post, I believe that is the person that the dealer in Grass Valley said who had VIN #001. Makes sense.
