I was thinking about it!!! I really want to but am not sure if I will be home in time, I have a Formula Racing competition in Michigan from May11th-18th. If I can get home in time, get the bike whipped into shape, and pick up some luggage bags for the bike then I will be there!!!
I have a joe rocket manta tank bag right now but thats it, being my first overnight ride, whats best to bring there?

until i got my new job last month, id ride my old 87 to and from work pretty much daily (weather permitting of course, and then again sometimes even if it didnt) and i lived almost 50 miles from my office. so not only close to 100 miles a day, but through some of the worst traffic in Dallas. it likes to get HOT in stop and go traffic, but as long as i keep her moving, she just loves to click away the miles. 50k and counting! (and despite the fact that i only live 20 miles from work now, im still gonna be riding as soon as the weather clears up in texas)
