How does one remove the fuel cap assembly? ('87 VFR 700)

Oh - also....I finally figured out that the seat for this year was black for the white version and grey for the blue version.

I bought a used black seat from eBay for this bike so guess it won't exactly be a stock look any more. Unless I take the old seat and get it recovered. Which I may well do.

 

Correct - stock should look about like the attached, except for the missing right turn signal.
