How do you turn the rpm's? Bike running at bit too slow!

    The bike idled at normal RPM's one day and then the next it was 500? Or did this happen over time?

    all of a sudden it just started idle down-don't know why, perhaps the hot weather changed it.

    a clog in the air intake would cause a sudden rpm drop.

    Don't allow it to idle at 500 rpms. Your oil pressure will suffer also. Check the things already stated. Run some berrymans fuel injector cleaner through a couple tanks of fuel. Double the recommended amount. If it just changed over night you have a issue more dire than just adjusting the idle speed. Could be as simple as some bad gas.

    Looks like my bike needs to go to the shop, I got a idle problem, my tag light wire blew out my lights. I add some seafoam. Oh , I have some new denso spark plugs.

    Seafoam is ok if its used on a routine bases, but berrymans is more potent to rid your carbs/ throttle bodys of any unwanted deposits in the system. Your call.
