How did you get the dough to Buy your vfr?

So you get a performance filter that flows more air without getting a tune for it and its the filters fault? If you had properly winterized and stored your bike you would still be extolling the virtues of that filter instead of trashing it.

 

Buy one then-its not chipmunk proof like the stock one is. $75 or $25 for one that works better. took me a while to get the nuts out.

As a daily use vehicle it doesn't sit long enough to have a rodent issue, also as I dont have a pc5 or rapid bike kit to change the fueling I know not to do intake or exhause mods that would add more airflow.

 

It would seem the chipmunks did me a favor and destroyed the pipercross as I didn't change the fueling after using a higher flow filter. I also have a carbon slip-on which would also add to the problem. It just didn't run right. When I put a oem style back on that problem went away.
