Has anyone put a more substantial horn on their VFR? The horn on my RC26 sounds likes a wimpy, anemic version of the road runner from the Bugs Bunny cartoons. In comparison, my 1985 BMW K100RT two tone horn sounds like a bus. I'm thinking of getting two used BMW horns and installing them. Would that make my Interceptor a hybrid? ;-)
wimpy horns can be improved alot. spray wd40 into it and lightly tap the front a few times with a small hammer. then go to the back and fiddle with the small adjusting screw after loosening the lock nut. by pressing the horn button and very slightly turning the screw you can tune it to optimize the sound,
