Honda 8th generation quick-shifter fit 7th generation

    Just curious if the new factory quick shifter would also fit on a 7th generation?

    I'd imagine it's a different gear box set up but if by 7th gen you mean your 2011 VFR800, that's a 6th Gen (7th Gen are the VFR1200)

    the LEVER itself is a good farkle for DIY'er quick shifters ala rapidbike quickshift items. it gets a good start to a chassis mounted QS position, considering our own shift lever is bolted directly into the gearbox with no linkage to speak of.
