    Just as a quick follow-up, carburetor diameter measurement seems to have two popular schools of thought; it's either the venturi diameter or the carburetor throat closest to the engine. The venturi measurement is more or less the "traditional" way, but that really wouldn't apply to throttle bodies on a fuel injected motor.

    So, as usual, time marches on and makes us wonder why we bother trying to remember technical reference information. :biggrin:
