Nice job, I wish I had your skills when it came to fabrication and bobywork repair. Did the ole' lady at least give you a little luvin for all the hard work you did for her? Oh I almost forgot to ask, when did you want me to bring my bike "Pearl" up to your place so you can work on a highmount exhaust and custom tail for her?

    Regards,
    Rollin

    first road results

On saturday I took it up and down the raod and it was, well, not great. She seemed to want to just dive into the pavement durring a low speed turn. I parked it and discover that I had failed to check the psi in the new tires....dumb ass. on sunday much differnt results. With the front tire now having 15 psi in it responded a bit bettter! GO FIGURE! After two years of the bridgestones sitting in the corner of the shop they were a bit slipery but they got better as I rode them. I noticed no tracking issue, pulling or vibration from the new CBR front wheel. I did not give it hell by any stretch. Have some weather rolling in for the next 3 days so I'll take the time to go over all the repairs, fabrication & mods & we'll take it back out thursday or friday for a proper shake down.

I'm working up a plan on building frame sliders that should not require cutting the plastics... more to come if I pull it off. I wanna try and prevent this amount of repair over a simple low speed drop.
