Stuka I know they are there somewhere but looking through Mechanics Garage, General VFR Discussions, and 1st and 2nd Gen sections and I still can't find anything on it , must be me.

Gavin before you just turn the carbs around I would probably ask a new question about carbs and that might draw somebody in who has good knowledge on what you will have to do if the carb have been removed from the base plate. I'm not sure if the carbs assembled on the base plate can be reversed as a complete unit. When you got the carbs in a box were they complete and on the plate or not?

 

Now why would I look in 1st Gen

 

I hate to be this way but in the picture it looks like the side mount ear is busted and oot of whack, tends to happen if your not really careful and start messing with the carbs with manifold removed. I am gonna guess that all if not most of the springs are going to be missing as well as damaged cross over tubes. How aboot you pluck the carbs back off and lets get a better look at what we have.

 

Ok well ill give it a shot my carbs were never on a plate and were completely four individual separate units when Igor them and just from looking at the pieces AMD messing with them got them there present state apparently not such a great one at that I also have been all over the net trying to find a PDF file for my bike and haven't been able to find it anybody know of a site for the 86 by chance I would appreciate it

 

Have one family stuff to do tonight but I will pull the carbs tomorrow and get you guys some better pictures ok

Honda service manual for 2nd Gens is in a link here. Should have the pages needed for rebuilding carbs, but I'm on my phone and so not gonna check 600+ pages on it.

Also, not to be a dick or anything but, punctuation kicks so much ass. A few periods and question marks might go along long way toward garnering more support.

 

Makes my head hurt trying to make sense of it, can only sort of guess what is going on

Ok ok guys I got it punctuation is good. I will try to remember this when posting . Thank you all for the help thus far and i will do my best to keep up with you guys on here . Money is tight so parts are slow coming but all my extra money and energy is going into this till its done so bear with me guys .

Yes I can see that well all of you seem like a pretty good bunch of guys so far . No one local from the Fresno area though yet well I got the carbs off the bike now so ill get the pics up ASAP

 

I am not sure about Fresno, but I do believe that you have several members north of you a couple of hours in Sacramento.
