Something else to consider, some helmets have cheek pads available in various thicknesses. So fit can customized somewhat. I think I paid $30 for a set of thinner cheek pads for my Arai Profile.

I am totally on board with Sammich. Poor fit makes any helmet suck. My head is round and almost all the big brands give me a headache within a couple minutes of putting it on. KBC was the best fit for me, but they went out of business. Cycle Gear sells ECE rated helmets. Unlike DOT, ECE means something. I am eyeballing an ECE rated helmet in their 707 line.

Fit is foremost, I ended up with the Shoei RF1200 for the fit, and color (Silver to match VFR), plus it has new emergency tabs to remove padding for EMTs to assist getting it off without injury.

DOT snell or ECE but most if all fitment figment figment. Then you look to features.

You can get good stuff cheap. Then again, cheap is all relative. Bell, scorpion, HJC all make helmets that are reasonably priced. All offer bang for the buck. But you must try them on and check for fitment.

I'm selling my RS-1 Steampunk-Med with transitions shield, only used about 6 times. Best price, online is about $299.00. I would be willing to take $250.00...oh did I mention it includes a Sena SMH10R Bluetooth system already installed!

LOL.. Great importance seems to lie with how quiet the helmets are. Next subject: Best mufflers so the bike sounds cool.

Olive oil is not too saturated. Canola oil is from Canada, Soy oil is OK but the best is Peanut oil. Olive oil is different than Olive Oyl. She is Popeye's old lady, and messing with Popeye will get you in deep shit.

I always thought Popeye would show up in one of those Fantastic four or five flicks or however many there are now. A shot of spinach and he goes all bad ass.

There was some talk aboot adding some new characters but Stan Lee drew the line on The Village People.

Another vote for Scorpion, my wife and I wear them. Happy to say we have no experience with their protective capabilities but they do have the fit and finish of something that would leave your wallet a little lighter.
