Yes, Australian members post pics like that, but that is their actual orientation. You being in Iowa the pic is upside down.

On this site select the picture and select edit. There is an option to rotate it.

I presume you are taking photos with a cell phone sideways? The phone may define one way as "up" and the other way as "down". If i am correct, then you must flip the phone the same way each time to get right side up photos.
