    It's not so sunny today in CA. I'm in Disney for vacation and it's raining. I live in Porterville and can't wait to get home and resume my commuting to work on my 6th gen.

    Kansas is too flat and straight for me. Though I've been shared stories about how people are amazed at the expanse of Kansas...being able to see for miles and miles.

    Or... just take a nice ride?

    Weather's nice here. Traffic is a lot worse than it used to be. Indian casinos at the end of every good road, so you have to watch for drunks, busses, and idiots who back up traffic 15 cars deep and won't pull over at the turnout. But the scenery is nice and the worst weather we get is a little rain for a couple of days most years.

    Gday Randy, welcome to the world of VFR. I'd be up for Christmas morning ride but doubt I'd arrive in time ;-)

    The weather here has been frequently heatwave and slightly sub-heatwave and just as frequent thunderstorms. How did this notion arise about side mounted radiators not working?!?! Went for a ride down the highway the other day, it was 37 deg C when I left home and 38.5 C when I arrived at my destination. The 5th gen was running as cool as a cucumber, the same temp as any other warm summers day.

    It was its rider who was over heating! ;-)
