    Mud Flap

I just hate it when my shock gets crudded up with road grime. Didn't really want to add a hugger so... cut a mudflap out of sheet rubber ('neoprene' to some) and affixed it to the undertail plastic with heavy duty velcro. Rode in the Santa Barbara Toy Ride today and rain/mud tested it. Worked perfectly. Cost for the rubber, $2. Velcro, $3. And since space is pretty tight and difficult to view, it doesn't even look ghetto. When I figure out how to post an image, I'll put one up.

Nope, no Photobucket acct. At your suggestion, I looked into it but, didn't like the idea of giving them my "valid" cell phone #. I just uploaded 3 "mudflap" images to the 5th Gen album (I think). Or maybe they're in my "photo gallery(?)" Width of the rubber is 5-3/8" x 7-1/4" at the longest edge. Sheet rubber used is 1/4" thick so it's relatively rigid yet, still retains flexibility.
