It was time to rebuild the petcock and I decided to take the opportunity to swap out tanks so I can start prepping the Blue one for paint.



Installed some new RC31 decals after having to do some work on the tail section. It is actually silver but a little lighter than I was expecting. Added a red outlined silver HONDA above the taillight too.



The graphics are a little ahead of the game on the grand scheme, but they were cheap and I wanted to do some testing. The red is meant to key off of the shock. HONDA on the front and did a red accent on the headlight ring to bring a little more red to the front.



The tank (and rest of the bike eventually) will be a dark silver with a charcoal HONDA and Wing outlined in red. Same with the rest of the graphics, charcoal - red outline. If/when the bike gets torn down for a full resto, the engine will be blacked out with red valve covers.

 

Red valve covers eh. Like these?

 

Yep, nice. With blacked out crankcases, cylinders and heads, charcoal metallic crankcase covers.

 

That would be sick!
