    +1 on heated grips. I ride down in to the high teens and with heated grips and winter gloves I'm good. The newer winter gloves are not all that bad. A little bulky at first but not bad and you quickly get used to them.

    Yeah Sye,
    ShadeTree sells similar gauntlets for snowmobiles that should work.
    I remember thinking about putting acerbis hand guards on my SV but never got around to it. It was the naked version and I'm sure it would have worked.
    But I like the gauntlet idea. Tougher to wave to the Harley folks though...

    Myself, I don't like heavy gloves. I wear very thin gloves snowmobiling too.
    Of course my sled does have heated grips.
